A year before Jack encountered the BeanStalk, she took on a bond debt with the Luckies. Getting tied up with these bikers wasn't the easiest thing for a teenaged girl to do, but buying out her father's corporate servitude contract would have been impossible with two missing limbs. 

Now she owes them for an arm and a leg, and her first day with Monk, Slick, and the rest of the club proves to be a trial by fire that she wasn't prepared to face.
